Snappy Glazed Meatballs

1 lb. hamburger
1/4 C bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1 small onion, chopped fine
1 egg
1 C chili sauce (12 oz. bottle Heinz brand)
1 C grape jelly
Mix together hamburger, bread crumbs, salt, onion and egg. Form meatballs. Brown in skillet and cook until meat is cooked through.
Combine chili sauce and grape jelly. Pour over cooked meatballs and simmer until done.

Cilantro Dip
Cilantro Dip

1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
2 cups sour cream (light works well)
1 bunch cilantro (use all unless woody on bottoms)
juice of 1 lime or to taste
pickled jalapenos to taste
Combine first 2 ingredients in blender. Add remaining and blend well. Serve with tortilla chips.

Hot Virginia Dip

Ingredients:
1 cup pecans, chopped
2 teaspoons butter
16 oz cream cheese, softened
4 tablespoons milk
2.5 oz dried chip beef, minced
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 cup sour cream
4 teaspoons onion, minced
Sauté pecans in butter, set aside. In a large bowl thoroughly mix together remaining ingredients. Pour into a 1.5 or 2 quart baking dish.
Top with pecans. Chill until serving time.
Preheat oven to 350. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve hot with crackers.

1 package (10 oz.) baby spinach, chopped or 1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry Combine all ingredients and chill about 2 hours. Serve with your favorite dippers to your favorite people. |
